  1. You normally have to pass a medical test to learn to dive - so as long as you meet the appropriate medical standards for your country you can be as fat as you like

  2. Please don't tempt my weird and perverted sense of humor with questions like this.  Okay YES they can.   Hey dude whales dive just remember fat floats so don't be surprised if they "pop up"

  3. Yes, I do.

I mean, yes they can.  But it IS very physical and as others mentioned, they'd need more weight on their belts or in their BCD.

  4. um...besides the rude terms you used....yes they can...next time why not be as harsh

  5. Yep...you are just going to need a lot of weights on your weight belt to keep yourself down there.  Fat is more bouyant than muscle.

  6. Yes they can, as long as they can swim well.  And fat is more bouyant than muscle which means out of the water you will need more weights to get you to the bottom of the ocean/lake.  rumor has it that heavier people have an easier time controlling their bouancy which allows them to stay under the water longer than skinny divers.

  7. yeah they can why not might need a different amount of weight but other than that sure
