Can I get pregnant if?

Question

can a women get pregnant a day before ovulation?....I had intercourse yesterday in around 4 pm or so then around 8pm I just checked my cervix mucus is thick and stringy like egg whites but kinda cloudy white?

i think so! but the best way to get pregnant is to NOT try and plan! you tend to think to much about it and stress over it and it makes it harder on your body.

Yes.  

You can get pregnant at any point in time, even on your period depending on the specific person sometimes people have additional eggs still sitting in the oh blast what's the name of it again...

I remember hearing a lecture on this, the chances are a heck of a lot lower during "odd" periods, like nearing none, but it's technically still possible.  Granted they might have been using scare tactics to encourage constant vigilance in in using contraceptives.  But I do remember that sperm has a life span of just short of a week outside the testes, so a day before ovulation is definitely within that lifespan.  

I'm sorry but I don't know what your mucous tendencies indicate.  I find all the various fluids and telling them apart confusing still.

Technically, no you can't get pregnant before your ovulate. Ovulation is the process of the eggs release. No ovulation means no egg to fertilize.

However, sperm can stay alive and active for a week or more, so it's possible to have s*x even a week before you ovulate, and once you do, if there is still some sperm active, you could become pregnant.

Yes.  Sperm lives for up to 3 - 5 days after s*x. If you ovulate within this period, there is a good chance you can get pregnant. You obviously are trying to get pregnant since you never used any protection so GOOD LUCK!

You can't actually GET pregnant until ovulation occurs, but you can get pregnant as a result of having s*x the day before ovulation.  The sperm can live in your body for 3-5 days, and will hang out in your fallopian tube, waiting for the egg to show up.

I think you can actually get pregnant at any time, which is why you should always use protection (unless your trying to conceive I guess) to prevent unwanted pregnancy and STD's you know all about it, I hope. I'm not entirely sure where I heard about a woman being able to get pregnant at any time...It may have actually been health class, I'm not to sure...but I'm 90% sure that's right.

Remember: that leave about a 10% room for doubt...and I'm starting to doubt more...idk.
