Can I get the iphone 3g?

I already have an account with att, but I dont wanna pay $600 for a phone. Can I open a new account and then cancel my existing one? or can I add a line to my account and ten cancel my current number?

Opening a new line or canceling your old one isn't necessary.  The phones are $199-$299 with an upgrade & $399-$499 without. Both will sigh you up for a new 2 year contract.  You just need to find out if your eligible for an upgrade or not.
