Can I see MRI results?

The hospital performed an MRI on me and my doctor summarized results. Can I have the results released to me for my inspection?

  1. Absolutely, you have the right to view all your medical records.  Call the radiology department at the hospital where it was performed and request a copy.


  2. The medical records department can get you a copy on disc along with the radiologists review.  Don't have high expectations of being able to understand what you are seeing in the MRI imagery but you should be able to make use of the radiologist's report.

  3. yup... just ask for them... they cant refuze!
