Well, I was washing my dog's water bowl and before I could dump it out I stood up and I accidently yanked the earphone's chord into the water. I picked it up really fast. Can I still use it? The dog bowl wasn't that dirty. Is it okay to wash it?

  1. well first u need to make sure it isn't wet wait til it drys cause wet electricty isnt good..lol....u can still use it if u want but if u r a health person it would best if u use another one

  2. Well try plugging them in and turn the volume down real low and listen and see if you hear anything. If they went underwater than they're probably ruined but if not; let them dry in a cool dry place for about 3 days then try again. Good luck!

  3. Try drying it out first, then give it a test.

Use a blow dryer - but not too close!  You don't want to melt it.

  4. Let it completely dry first and possibly it'll work.

  5. if you didnt have them hooked up to an electronic device and let them dry they should be ok

  6. It should still work. SHOULD. Don't blame me if it doesn't.

  7. Just the chord or the ear peaces?

if its just the chord just wipe it and it should work

  8. throw them away, earbuds dont cost much to replace...

  9. If you can dry it it should work but it probably won't short-circuit it even if it doesn't work (just make sure it is clean and dry) I had to clean a video game once and it still worked!

  10. dont wash it, wipe it with a baby wipe or something. just as long as the water dries out, they should be fine...try putting them in a small container of rice which will dry absorb up all the water

  11. Yes, it should work. As long as you wiped it

  12. Dry it out ; Dont wash it -.- Wipe it :)

They will be fine and shouldnt kill you... =]

if they do let me know.

  13. dont wash them just let it air dry and try pluggin it in to your music player without putting it in your ear (in case of sparks)  I ahve done this before and mine worked just becasue they werent submerged for to long, but it really depends on the how ear phnes were made. Just dont wash them put the out for a day to dry. tring to use them to soon can cause them to fry and you will have no hope of haveing them work again. Good Luck!

  14. They should work, I had blown out ipod earphones and i tried putting them in water and playing a song. They worked! The water actually made my earphones so they sounded like they weren't blown out!!
