Can I tye dye a shammy?

Question

a shammy is like a spongy cloth that absorbs water. I want to tye dye it, but I dont know if i can without wrecking it.

does anyone know if i can tye dye it?

I dont think it would ruin it but it would be dyed forever and be careful with wat u use because every time you get something wet that was tye dyed a little but of the dye comes out and it would get on you. But other then that I think it should work. Good luck : )

It won't ruin it, but I don't know if the dye will stay in the material.  I guess the only way to find out is to try it.
