Can a 14 year old?

Question

Volunteer at a local daycare centre that looks after children from 0-8 in the northeast UK? If so how do they go about doing it?

Well maybe try it out for work experience.

Give them a call and ask. I don't see why you couldn't, and it'll look great on your CV.

Edit: It wouldn't bother me. If you're unqualified, you're not going to be left alone with children and the chances are that before you're even allowed in the building, you'll have criminal records checks. Seriously, go for it - you've got nothing to lose from enquiring.

I would not mind at all, as long as the 14 year old was under adult supervision at all times.

My 12 year old works with preschoolers.  :)
