  1. alright so which antivirus software are you using that's giving you the trouble?

any AV software that does that is horrible and u shouldn't use it...

ok so go to Control Panel>>Add or Remove Programs (if on Vista, then click on "Programs and Features">> find the program>> remove it.

if this doesn't work, then search "remove (name of program here)" in google and you can get a solution from other people like you who have had the problem.

after you uninstall it successfully, get a new AV program to use. I recommend AVG or Avira if you want a good free one.

Avg can be downloaded here: http://www.grisoft.com/free

Avira can be downloaded here: http://www.avira.com/en/download/index.h...

    good luck

  2. Uninstall all other anti-virus programs through safe mode and then install AVG. Don't worry its free.

  3. had same problem recently ..i removed  it with  cccleaner    and reinstall it started from scratch...

  4. Sounds like one of the Virus Hoax programs.

It downloads and installs on your pc then gives you false Virus Alerts and wants you to purchase there product.

The only program I know off that will fix this is  called

    SMITH-FRAUD FIX.

    Google for it.

  5. There is deffintly something virus about it delete the product off your computer the get new software

  6. If you have a clean computer download AVG Free and the update file from:

    http://free.avg.com/ww.download-avg-anti...

Boot your computer in safe mode (turn off computer and turn on again holding the F8 key) install the AVG and run a complete scan.

  7. Try to go into Safe Mode (Pressing F8 while the computer boots up) and from there go to Add / Remove programs and try to uninstall the rouge Anti-Virus, if all fails, try to download and install a legitimate anti-virus (like Avira Antiver or AVG) and then do a system scan with it, if that program is bad, the new Anti-virus should kick its butt :)

    Hope that helps
