Can a guinea pig chew this?

okay i went to the pet store and they have this branches for birds and i want to know if my guinea pig can chew them? i think the branches were like maple or some thing....

Certain bird toys can be suitable for guinea pigs, and some are not. You should stick with toys made specifically for guinea pigs-just in case.

If you want to give them a stick to chew on, there are treat sticks at the pet store. You can even try an apple tree branch right off the tree- as long as it doesn't have any chemicals on it.

If its really smooth, It should be ok; All small mammals need something to chew on. But if it is kinda rough then i dont think thats a very good Idea. They could get splinters which could lead to bad situations.

It would probably be okay, but it could have something in it that's harmful for guinea pigs but not for birds. I suggest going to a large pet store (pet smart, petcetera) and getting something especially made for guinea pigs.

I'd get something specifically catered to them.  They have these cool new hts and things made of alfalfa and other stuff that they like to play on and in and eat.
