Can andy murray beat nadal?

Possible but chances are slim but please bear in mind that this is their first meeting on grass.  Murray have stretched Nadal to five sets in Australian Open last year.  I'm not surprised if Murray can beat Nadal.

Murray will probably push Nadal to a couple tough sets, and perhaps even take a set away from Nadal, especially with the crowd on his side. However I am expecting Nadal to win this in four sets, if they play each other. Quite frankly I have a feeling that Gasquet will beat Murry in their 4th Round match.

Nadal will only lose his Quarterfinal match against Murray/Gasquet depending on how difficult a match Youzhny gives him. If their 4th Round match goes to five sets, then I would pick either Murray as the favorite against Nadal in the Quarters, and Gasquet with a better than average chance to beat Nadal.

Everyone can beat anyone, especially on this year's Wimbledon... See what happened to Sharapova and Ivanovic... If Murray give his 100% of ability and talent and don't get nervous about playing Nadal, he will be a threat. However, Nadal is tough opponent, his game and talent are nothing comparing to his mental strength... he is really great player, but everyone has a bad day, right?? I hope Murray wins that match!!! I like his game a lot. Maybe his good friend Djokovic gives him advice. :)))

On any given day, it is possible. If Nadal is a little off and Murray plays the game of his life it can happen. You can ask Ivanovic and Djokovic about players they were not supposed to lose to !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
