Can anyone help me with Recyling?

I want to start recyling. When you recycle, can you put many different types of plastic in one bag? example: #1 and #2. Also, can you recycle any type of plastic bag with that? thnx.

My recycling company takes plastics 1-7.  Also, you can put in aluminum cans, glass, and newspaper.

i have always put plastic bags and plastic bottles together and they have never really said i shouldn't so i guess it would be alright does that answer your question?

You can put the different types of plastic in one bag but you have to make sure that your recycling center can take them.

What can be recycled varies from place to place. In my city, the municipality collects recycling, garbage and compost. They give you a handout that tells you exactly what goes in which bag.

For instance, in my area we can put the following in a clear or clear blue bag:

    *  Plastic bottles & containers (#2 & #1)

    * All plastic bags including: grocery, retail, bread, dry cleaning & frozen food bags, bubble wrap.

    * Glass bottles and jars

    * Steel & aluminum cans

    * Clean aluminum foil & plates

    * Paper milk cartons, Mini Sips & Tetra Juice Paks

Paper stuff goes in a separate clear bag:

    *  Dry and clean paper

    * Newspapers, flyers

    * Glossy magazines, catalogues

    * Envelopes

    * Paper egg cartons

    * Paperbacks & phone books

Make a separate bundle for corrugated cardboard (corrugated cardboard is 'waffled' between the layers e.g. appliance boxes, pizza boxes)

If your municipality doesn't collect recycling, call the nearest depot and ask them what to do.

Depends on where you live.  Do a web search on your county or city name and 'recycling' and you'll probably find a government website that will give detailed instructions.

hmm, well, I don't get it, but if you are wondering what could you recycle, I guess you could recyle alot. Cans bottle beer bottle bags paper....

But don't forget to remove the caps.

check with your local trash handler. they have detailed info for you, possibly even a website with the info you need.
