Can fresh peachs be frozen

i have bought a basket full of fresh ripe peach's... more than i can eat at this time ...can the remainder be frozen?

  1. Sure you can! It's a pain but totally worth it. Peel the peaches with a sharp knife, cut them in half and remove the pit. The easiest way to get the halves apart is to turn the halves in opposite directions.Slice the peaces into wedges and sprinkle them with lemon juice to keep them from turning dark. Layer them into freezer containers with some sugar and label & date them so you don't forget in a few months. When it comes time to use them, remember that they've got sugar added - reduce your recipe's sugar a bit.

  2. Yes you can. They take the the fresh peaches from the store and do the same thing so it should be alright.

  3. Yes you can, it is best to coat them with a little sugar before freezing them. It helps to keep them from drying out and turning brown.
