  1. "Grass" covers quite a lot of ground (sic).

    Besides cereal grains there are also ornamental varities , lawn mixtures and even a grass used as a construction material - bamboo. If breeding is the question then the answer is definetly yes. Most cereal grains have been specially bred to suit whichever particular climate they are grown in. The only grass used to make bread is corn or wheat. Cereal grains are the only grasses with seeds large enough to make flour from. People can't eat grass itself, but without grass, there would be no cattle, goats or sheep.


  2. Can grass breed?  No, breeding is for live animals.  

    Can you make bread from it?  Do you really want to?
