Can somebody help me?

Question

My DVD writer don't reads my DVDs and CDs. I tried with 5 DVDs and 3 CDs, but nothing happens!

Pleas help me!!!

You probably do not have autorun set for the drive.

You did not say what version of Windows ya gots.

Try this

Start Windows Explorer (not Internet), find the drive with a DVD or CD in it, highlight the executable file, (filename.exe) and press <Enter> or double-click it.

This may bring up a dialog window asking if you wish to have the drive automatically run any discs in the drive.

You can do this with Windows settings, but I don't wanna type for ever.

PS: Try using Windows Help the answers are there somewhere.

Need more information. Is this a new drive and is this a recent problem? Has your drive ever worked?

Check the connections to the drive and make sure the drive is seated (plugged-in) tightly.

Does the drive attempt to read the discs when they're inserted?

As a last resort delete the drivers and let your computer reinstall the drivers when you reboot.

Try restarting your computer, if not you may need a new DVD drive.
