Can someone help me? (beginner jogger)?

i started joggin abt a week ago for field hockey. I was joggin 1.3 miles in abt 15 minutes. I jogged for 20 mins today. Can some1 help me with pacing? I jog ok-speed. How long should I jog 20 mins for? When should I jog more? Can someone give me a good routine? thanks

also, i am going on vac. and its at a lake and there arent many places to jog, no sidewalks... any ideas where to go?

  1. If you're a self-professed jogger, you shouldn't worry about speed. Just run at a nice easy pace, which is recommended for beginners. How fast you're going greatly depends on your age, gender and body type. I would say 10-11 min/mile pace is about average for most beginners.


  2. if you can get your pace down to 9 minutes for 3 miles you will be on your way -- at the lake go to a nearby school if there is one and jog there outside track!!!
