which is the best hotel to be in in punta cana (domican republic)? near its nightlife, im only 20 years old. thanks.

Punta Cana is mostly all-inclusives and is pretty removed from anything.  You might try TripAdvisor.com to get opinions on the various resorts there.

Punta cana-Bavaro is a all inclusive area hotel. and all the hotel has entertainment inside disco, casino, theater etc.

Puerto Plata, Sosua-Cabarete has more nightlife.

Hi Dumbie !,

For party and disco, Punta Cana is not the best spot. Try Puerto Plata with a disco in each hotel/resort and also the famous Mangu Disco of Playa Dorada and Roadway also in Playa Dorada. If you want more info just let me know.

go to the flamingo bavaro hotel!!!  there is ''mangu'' it's the best disco/bar in that side, if you sleep in that hotel you can go for free!!!!

the 2nd floor is full of g*y people!!!

I totally agree with Happy Feet - it is not really for young singles - yes there is entertainment in the evenings in all resorts but it is more geared towards older people (ie me - my son is 22 years!!!) and I don't think he would have a 'party...party... North of the Island, which is where my partner and I are going because we got a very good deal on Gran Ventana Beach, Playa Dorado has better night life where you can go out of the resort and find clubs etc Try looking on www.debbiesdominicanrepublic and read up on the reviews - you will find out alot from there!!!  Good luck and enjoy wherever you end up going???
