It actually looks like a plant in the Sedum family, particularlly "Autum Joy"

Everyone nailed it, that's a Sedum.

That is sedum. Some people call it live forever or grow forever. Very hardy and easy to transplant. The one in the photo is a groundcover. To the right there wa another photo, of a Pickwick Crocus. I love the striped purple and white petals, plus it is a very early bloomer.
