There are two seperate bets.  The first is the Pair Plus.  Once you get your three cards you need to have a pair or better to get paid.  It doesn't matter what the dealer has.  The other bet is the ante/play.  This is where you play againsty the dealer.  If you think your hand will beat the dealer's hand you have to match your ante bet with a play bet.  The dealer needs a Queen a better to play. If the dealer doesn't have a Queen or better the play bet is pushed and the dealer would pay the ante bet.  If the dealer has a Queen or better your hand has to beat the dealer hands to get paid.

Have fun playing this but you cannot win money consistently playing this. The house edge is very large with this game.
