i was told that there are 2 books on how to build a racing engine i have a sb chevy 350 id like to get into street stock racing soon.can any one tell me where i mite find such a book on how to make a 350 race capable

Summit Racing, Jegs, Just about any auto parts store has these books. I used to have one called "How to Hot Rod Small Block Chevies".

One of the book is called "Small Block Chevy Engine Building" there is a link at the bottom for it.

Another is call"How To Build Max Horsepower Chevy Motors" It's available through Barnes and Noble. They have it advertised for 19.97 I couldn't get the link to work for it.
