Can the Blues make the 8??

I know it was only Port, but they looked OK to me (and I hate 'em)

I don't think the blues can make the eight because brisbane and St KIlda are both trying too make the eight and I just can't see Carlton being able too handle the pressures of the Finals because whoever they come up against will be too good!

I am a fellow Carlton hater, and even though the Blues played a great game, i still don't think that they can make finals. The Blues have to compete with St Kilda, Collingwood, Brisbane, Richmond and Essendon to make the eight, and right now, I think some of those club are better than the Blues. I think they will play finals next year, when they are more experienced.

Mathematically yes. Realistically? What's the point? Geelong are going to sweep all before them anyway.You're right. It was only Port. Even if we did get in, we wouldn't get very far. We're not that good at the moment to seriously challenge top 4 teams with the exception of the Bulldogs.The only top 8 team you can say we'd comfortably beat is Collingwood. And they're nowhere near the best in the competition.

Yeah they can - if they win all their games this season by at least 30 or more points, they need to simply run harder and fevola needs to boot a big bag of goals - if they do this, they are dead set in the finals

They are a decent team and they are showing the compertition that they can play finals football. Look I want them to continue in the 8 because of the experience. But they will do better next year for sure.
