  1. Global warming is caused by the Green house effect which results from the accumulation of certain gases like unwanted water vapor, CO2, CH4, N2O etc which trap the heat energy like a blanket. If any of your above stuffs is proceed through production of these gases (e.g. burning of petroleum), then certainly u r contributing for global warming.

Be aware let not industries produce more and more these gases. So, only use what is enough!

  2. Of course not!First off, there is no contact with the environment with what you are doing. And second, giving it to the salvation army would really not cause global warming what so ever, I'd even encourage it!You'd hurt the environment if you burned the clothes or threw them away.Because you would not only be wasting our resources but also be a bad person in my book.Cheers!;)

  3. Environmental responsibility is not an issue to be taken lightly. If you are a person of faith you believe that God gave man dominion over all the earth and that it would be an affront against the Almighty not to take that responsibility seriously.

If you were ever a Boy Scout or a Girl Scout... if you hunt, fish, hike, or camp out... if you live in the country or have ever been awed or humbled by the great natural beauty of America... you understand the vital importance of being a good steward of God's creation.

But the sad truth is that Global Warming has little to do with good stewardship and is nothing more than a myth being advanced not just by eco-radicals but also by a biased media, special interests that seek to diminish the sovereignty of the United States, and politicians who view advancing this myth as an opportunity to increase taxes on American businesses and consumers.

Global Warming as pushed by Al Gore and the UN isn't science; it is propaganda masquerading as science to push the Left's favorite causes.

The Left is using the MYTH of Global Warming as an excuse to raise taxes on American families, bash business, expand government regulation and revive their discredited socialist ideology.

New taxes, higher taxes, lost jobs, and a diminishing standard of living in pursuit of a myth are not the American way to meet a challenge.

The rising price of gasoline is hurting nearly every family in America.  We are tired of Congress doing nothing. It is time for Congress to develop a program which allows the exploration of America’s energy sources without materially affecting our environment.  Congress should put our families first and use common sense in dealing with this issue.

Here is truth about global warming:

Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.

The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.

This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.

Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is

becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).

As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).

When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.

It's been happening for millions of years.

The worrisome and brutal predictions of drastic climate effects are based on computer models, NOT CLIMATE HISTORY.

As you probably know, computer models are not the most reliable of sources, especially when used to 'predict' chaotic systems such as weather.

    Global warming/cooling, AKA 'climate change':

    Humans did not cause it.

    Humans cannot stop it.

  4. Global Warming is NUMBER 1 on my "Things That I Stand Against" list.

Don't listen to anything they say about global warming.

Even if it was true, in "An Inconvenient Truth" Al Gore drives a car to the meeting. And he says it's "critical" to stop greenhouse gas emissions. And he thinks that driving a car will help?

Honestly, you've got to wonder about these people. Global Warming is not a problem to me or you or anyone else alive, so why should we care? Even Lisa off the Simpsons doesn't care if she goes to a school full of asbestos. No-one cares, so get over this global warming c**p.

  5. Global warming is a con game for economic and political power by a group of politicians around the world. It has not happened, will not happen and cannot happen and anybody with even an average high school education should know better or our schools are in worse shape than I thought they were. The sea level rise happened 11,000 years ago when the ice age ended and the mile high glaciers melted. Global warming or climate change as they now call it is on about the same level of truth as the Nigerian email scam or those emails supposedly from your bank wanting you to reenter your security information so they can clean you out. So be careful if you accept the AGW scam you are prime meat for any of the rash of identity theft email scams out there.

  6. Our activities on this planet have no effect upon the sun (the true cause of climate change on Earth).  Convert all of your monetary value into old tires and set them on fire...it won't change the climate.

  7. That's the thing. The production process of making things, whatever they are, creates CO2. So it is quite natural that everything we make contributes to global warming. If you keep buying certain things that create more CO2 than others, companies will keep making it, and if everyone in the world who doesnt have those things (like developing countries) you can see where this is going. This ain't easy, but being aware is the first thing I guess.

  8. Its certainly better to give your old stuff to a charity than throw it away, one persons trash is someone elses treasure.

I doubt your collection of bags and clothes is warming the planet whether you store them in the cupboard or throw them away.
