hi. i'm 16 and obese (not grossly obese, like ten lbs past overweight on the bmi scale). i'm a hypochondriac, that also should be noted. i get sum pain in my abomen (sometimes upper, sometimes lower). i bloat when i eat, but tend to eat alot. and i get back pain and feel tired alot (though i stay up till 4-5). could this be stomach cancer? it's what i fear. soon i'm going for a full physical, but i'm pretty worried. this has been going on for a while. i don't have black or red stools or anything like that, and no pain i experience is constant or severe. thanks in advance.

  1. You probably have gas,

But if you need to check, check. I'd suggest eating smaller meals. And scales don't tell you 10lbs, over BMI, they tell you percentages, and then, its probably not accurate. Stomach cancer is very painful, so I doubt thats it, but i would never tell someone to ignore a health concern.

  2. No you probably don't have stomach cancer.  You are just focusing on yourself too much.

  3. stomach cancer it painful and you'll feel it for a prolonged period of time. i don't know about the pain in your abdomen but i believe the pain in your back may be caused by the extra weight you carry. usually when you loose some weight, so does the pain.
