Can toads eat love bugs?

i have my own toad outside, i cant find any flies...and im feeding him vedgies lol.. but i can find alot of love bug it eats* its so cool to feed it*.. can they eat love bugs? and i have to let him go soon becuase of the hurricane>_<

if so, they are toxic.

a toad will starve to death before it eats veggies

Absolutely they can also eat bugs, worms, sometimes smaller toads or frogs. Crickets and worms are the main things it should eat
