  1. Oversimplified.   However you can eventually get rid of your fingerprints.   but its either, a- time consuming, or b- excruciatingly painful.

  2. As other answers mentioned more powerful acids are needed. It is impossible to get rid of fingerprints using pineapple juice, sorry to disappoint you.

I've heard about fingerprints being surgically removed, but I can't vouch for that statement's accuracy.

  3. Don't erase your fingerprints, the government is going to start requiring everyone has their fingerprints on file with the new National ID act coming sometime next year. They'll probably deport you.

  4. pineapple juice is not acidic enough to remove fingerprints. however, they can be removed. some methods are dissolving them with very strong acid, slicing them off, and sanding your fingers to remove the skin.

i imagine thieves don't do this because all methods are incredibly painful, and the risk of infection. also, there will still be scars where your prints used to be, which can be identified. i guess it's easier to just wear gloves.

  5. The acid in pineapples is not strong enough for this. You'd need really strong acid, like sulfuric or nitric, to literally burn away your skin.

Some thieves have done it, but you need a good reason and a high pain tolerance, because erasing your skin with acid hurts like mad.
