Hi :)

I live abroad and I don't really know about this test called SAT, so I'll really appreciate your answer or help..

I've just got my sat score

Critical reading : 590

MAth : 630

Writing : 520

(total = 1740)

Is it still considered to be low or average?

How much does it take to be in the "low", "average" and "high"?

Do you know any university that I can get into?

Is it possible for me to raise the total score into around 2100?

Any suggestion or info for me?

Thanks a lot :)

  1. I initially got 1700 on my SAT's as well. I used TutorFox.com's sat guide and the Princeton Review's sat guide in order to improve my scores. Both books extensively cover all the information needed to do well on the test. I eventually got a 2200+. I highly recommend those two books.

  2. average. your math and reading are above average. and writing is below average. not really "high". 1500 is the national average (in the US).

to get your score raised you have to STUDY. but it's totally possible. buy the SAT prep books; they help... if you have them there.

you can def. get into many universities just not the elite ones. probably some average ones. good luck :)
