Can walmart rehire ex employees?

Question

.Is it possible for Walmart to rehire ex employees who did not give a 2 week notice before quitting? I keep hearing stories that walmart will not rehire past employees unless they were desperate.My husband and I had to move as he was reassigned to another location for his job and we had to leave.It has been 6 years since I worked for the company and I put my name back in,I doubt I will get a call from them.

Does the information stay in file for life? I am just curious

Well it never hurts to try. I would apply and ignore the question entirely if you can. If they come up and say it says you didn't finish your two weeks just tell them the manager stated they didn't need you for the remaining weeks and you could leave then with no repercussions. Usually has worked for me. However if you leave them again I would suggest finishing the two week notice.
