Info: The 'John Doe' Provision was cut from yesterday's (19 July) Home Land Security Bill?

Background: The 'John Doe' Provision was designed to protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior that may lead to a terrorist attack.

  1. 1.) Dropping it sounds like the right thing to do. If a person is harmed by another's accusation of "suspicious behavior", of course the injured party should be permitted to sue.

    2.) No, i didn't already know about this, but that's the state of the media in the US.


  2. No I didn't know about it nor do I really care about Law.  If I see something terroristic I must judge for myself what act I shall play but thanks for nothing.
