Can you be both?

Is it possible to be both an anesthesiologist and a Primary Care Sports Medicine Specialist. If it is do you get paid for both?

Is it possible to be both a carpenter and a auto mechanic?  Of course it is possible.

But you can not get paid for both at the same time.  You either work as a mechanic and get get paid for that or your work as a carpenter and get paid for that.  The only way you can get paid for both is to work 8 hours as a carpenter and find a second job as a mechanic at night or something!

Sure you can be both, but you'd have to do separate residencies; one in anesthesiology, and one in either orthopedic surgery or physiatry (physical rehabilitation).
