Yes, just drive south, go through Mexico and you will arrive there.  However, if you do not speak the language and know the customs, it can be tricky at best.

Do not listen to people who say you can drive there. It is impossible to drive an american car through Mexico and latin american. There ARE roads that go down there, but they are one lane roads over mountains and are frequently washed out and plauged with landslides. They also go through farms.

It depends what continent you live on. If you're in North America, yes, you can, but you'd be driving for weeks, all the way through Mexico, because it's south of Mexico. If you're in South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, etc, no, you can't.

Yes.  It is possible, but it takes a long time to get through Mexico.  Not to mention the dangerous roads (both terrain and bandits).  There are certain taxes you must pay along  the way.  It would depend on where you are driving from.  I would recommend flying, but I have relatives that drive every year from the US (Virginia, Georgia, California) to Guatemala.  Plus, coming from the U.S.  it's really fun to drive in Guatemala.  There are almost NO enforced traffic laws.  Want to pass on a blind curve with a one thousand foot drop and no guardrails.  Go ahead, Dumptrucks and Buses do it all the time, lol.

Paperclip-UA-4-Life:  The question wasn't should you drive from the U.S. to Guatemala.  The question was CAN you drive to Guatemala.  The answer IS yes.  It's not recommended, but it's possible.

Yes I have two times...

The roads in Mexico are fine especially the main roads.

It was more difficult to get down to Guatemala about 15 years ago when I first started traveling through Mexico, but since then the trip can be made with most of the travel through Mexico on freeways.

Now the roads are generally fast and near US standards in Mexico, the roads in Guatemala are worse but by no means impossible.

In general it is not that common for Mexican police to ask for bribes anymore (but it was 15 years ago)....

As for needing to speak Spanish even that is not absolutely needed. I barely speak 100 words of the language and drove there alone.

The borders are slow and require 2 hours worth of paperwork, but that is not at all impossible. There were 3 road border crossings in 2004 between Mexico and Guatemala.

From the Texas-Mexico border at Brownsville, to the Mexico -Guatemala border can be traveled in only 3 days of under 14 hours driving a day.

Yes you CAN get robbed but it is unlikely. Just dont stop for people wearing ski masks in the jungle.
