Can you hook two cables together?

i need a longer one is there anything that i can s***w on to that cable and plug it into my tv

Yes. There are couplers for coaxial cable that allow you to extend it by s******g another cable onto it. Just go to your local hardware store, or even probably wal-mart. A longer cable pry isn't that expensive either if you just want to buy a new one, but the coupler wont cost more than a couple bucks if you already have a few old cables lying around

If you want to connect 2 coaxial cables together to make it longer, you can purchase a coaxial coupler. A golden coupler will give you a better picture. You can purchase one from Radio Shack, or similar stores.
