Can you identify this creepy crawler?

Ok, every once in a while we see these really weird bugs in our apartment. I've only come across them like 2 or 3 times but they really creep me out. We've asked everyone what they might be and the neighbor next door gets them sometimes too; no one knows what they are.

The front of their body looks kind of like a roach and then the back part kind of like a centipede. They're a little long for a roach but not near as long as a centipede and it has a forked butt! They give me the heebie jeebies! Can anyone identify?

i havent a clue maybe its like a cross between the two ? And if it was me i would have them all killed if they were in my house i couldnt live with them

I'm pretty sure you're refering to the "pincher bug," also known as an earwig. They're fairly common bugs, and they're harmless though annoying.

'Lelawi'... it's harmless,as it only lays eggs under the old clothes and mats...
