Can you paint fridgerators?

I am wanting to paint my beige fridge black. Can you do this, and if so what kind of paint and where do you purchase it? Thanks!

ya you can paint your fridge just scuff it up with some steel wool or real fine sand paper, primer it and paint it appliance paint, you should be able to get that at any hard wear store

Yes, use any paint for metal, just read instruction on can and yes use primer first.

Yes to can perparation is the key.

1. using medium to fine wet n dry abrasive paper rub down the entire paintwork to take of any gloss and silicones polishes etc.

mask around the door seal with 1" wide masking take to avoid painting rubber which will crack & look unsightly

2.Using sanding primer available from Auto shps coat the entire outer casing if the back won't be seen you could leave it.

3. rub out any minor blemishes when the primer is fully dry.

3. spray the colour of your choice Gloss would be more durable than matt.

ALWAYS USE PAINTS WITH CARE IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA  wear a mask and be aware that overspray can travel a fair distance coating surrounding areas

Yes, in general, as a few have pointed out, but make sure you know what it is made of.  Stainless vs. painted metal vs. vynil vs. glass laminate will require different paints, and have varying degrees of success.
