Can you recommend kitchen appliances?

Question

I'm going to buy a new refrigerator, stove, & dishwasher so I'm doing some research on what to buy and what to avoid. A website where household appliances are discussed would be helpful if you know of one. I'm planning on a complete stove (not 2 parts), a quiet dishwasher, and a refrigerator with the freezer in the bottom. Ideas? Complaints?

I have Kenmore (Sears) products and have not had any issues with them whatsoever.  I purchased them new 4 years ago.  Not sure if their line carries exactly what you are looking for however.

I bought a kenmore fridge from sears, in satina, last year and love it. It has an ice maker you can pull out in a bucket - so when you have guests over - you can have a nice bucket to set out... it's so easy to take out and put back in... also has great shelves that are very mobile. The satina finish is great - costs as much as stainless steal and looks exactly the same- BUT SO MUCH easier to keep clean - especially with a 5 year old boy running aroudn touching everything with dirty hands!

We also have a GREAT Jenair stove/range... it's OLD (it came with our house that was built in the 60s) - but it's wonderful! It has a grill on the left side that you can make into a gridle - great for frying up bacon, and pancakes... and then turns into a grill great for kabobs and steaks when it's too cold outside to start up the gas grill... the oven is perfect size and it has a downdraft venting system! LOVE IT! We are actually looking to replace the stove -not because it doesn't work - just because the style is a bit outdated... but I am for sure getting another JenAir with the grill attachment! I don't think i'll ever be able to go back to a regular stove again...

Amazon site is nice because of the consumer reports built into the product review so you can see what others said about the product before you buy it.

FRIGIDAIRE  is very economical and has a good dishwasher.

Bosch Dishwashers have a little better features and have good quite features. You do pay more as well - adding your own fiberglass insulation between the DW and cabinet and countertop may also help your sound if you do go for price. insulation

Gladiator Refridgerators work well in an envirenment with changing temperatures. http://astore.amazon.com/appliances-new-...

For stoves and all appliances - Frigidaire  is hard to beat for a combination of price and quality.
