Canada/Quebec Strip Club Laws?

My buddies took me to a strip club for my 18th in Quebec (drinking age is 18, so are the clubs) and one of them surprised me and bought me a lap dance in the VIP room.

I was always under the impression you were never allowed to touch the girl, but she practically took my hands and allowed me to fondle the merchandise, and there was a lot of body contact.

I just wanted to know, is this common for clubs in Quebec/Canada, or is it a rare thing? What's it like in the states?

This is rare. If you wanted this to happen again your best bet is to go back to the same place and find the same girl... which is probably the whole point of why she did it.

It is rarer in the States because the industry is more tightly regulated. In a few states strip clubs are underground and here this may be more common.
