Canadian Bell Digital phone service question?

Question

We have a voice mail message since last August that we are anxious to keep forever as it is the recording of a phone call from my children to their father. Bell says there is no way to transfer this message to an external media recorder.

Does anyone know of a way to get a really good recording of this message, capturing a good likeness of the quality?

I can't personally comment on their services, but I have some acquaintances who subscribe to Primus as an alternative to Bell/Rogers.
