Canaries singing ?

Question

I have 2 boys 2 girls how can make them sing because they dont sing they are in sepearate cages? Is their any thing i could do to help them sing .

put the male cage so they can see the  female  the male will sing to impress the female

I bought my canary a canary cd and he sang happily along with it! Good luck, they are wonderful birds!

Separate the males into individual cages.  Note:  All male canaries sing, but need to develop style, so I'd suggest a cd training disc.  They really work.  In fact, my Amazon sings alto now!

This is the time of the year that canaries are molting. This fall they should start singing once they are done with the molt. Separating the two males is ideal. You can put the two hens together but separate the two males. If you will put the males in different rooms they will try to out sing each other. I always enjoyed the fall when the young males are learning the song.

they will start again by fall =)
