Cancelling Health coverage?

I canceled my health coverage from BC/BS on 2/13/2008. I just recieved my paycheck for 2/15 - 2/29 and they still deducted my BC/BS. Is this a mistake? is health care prepaid or post paid?

It is usually prepaid monthly by the employer to the insurance company so if you canceled on 2/13 it probably will be effective 3/1. However, your employer probably doesn't take it out of your check that way. It's probably not a mistake but you may want to talk to the HR department to verify.
