Cancelling cell phone service.?

I heard that Sprint is getting sued for charging customers for terminating the cell phone contract early and has to pay all customers back. Does anybody have any more info on this? Is this a new law, that cell phone companies can't charge for terminating contracts early?

you still have to pay an early termination fee. the law has not passed for all companies. i dont really know if it even really passed for sprint yet. yes some cell phone companies were sued... but we are still charging early termination.
