Hello-

I am currently with virgin media for a 12 month telephone contract, however I am moving back into my parents house and I cant get the phone transfered as they are also with virgin and it would require installation charegs etc, how do I go about cancelling? is it easy or a nightmare as with BT? and also how much should I expect to pay if there is a cancellation charge?

Thanks!!

  1. since when do landline companies make you sign a contract?

there are no cancellation fees normally with a land line phone..

find out an area where they do not provide service, and tell them you are moving to an area that they do not service, or tell them you are going into the military, or something to that nature, normally if there are cancellation fees they will waive them for those situations..

lastly.. why did you spam this question 5 times?????

  2. Well all you can do is contact Virgin and see what they say, I am afraid I do not know what their customer services dept is like.

I actually have my own telecoms company and I promise all my customers that there is no contract ever but ask them to try the service for 3 months if after that time they want to switch away, they can do so free.
