Cancun weather and sunset?

Hello,

I'm planning a destination wedding to Cancun in April either next year or the one after and so I'm wondering:

1) What's the weather like now? Ocean temp? Is this a particularly windy time of year?

2) What time is sunrise and sunset?

As the days go on, the sunrise will be earlier and the sunset will be later.

Cancun is not windy this time of year, in fact, during the month of April, it is considered the dry season in the Yucatan Peninsula. The Caribbean Sea is also a comfortable temperature for swimming, however you should be aware that there may be Sea Lice. This is the slang term to describe the baby jellyfish that spawn from the Thimble Jellyfish. The Mexicans also refer to it as Agua Mala, which literally translates to say "bad water". Even though I am bring this up, do not shoot the messenger and most of all have no fear, there is a product known as Safe Sea which protects agaist the stinings and rashes that are caused by Sea Lice.
