Cant recieve payments through paypal HELP!!!!?

Question

I have sold two items through paypal...both paid two days ago yet when i log into paypal all account activity shows nothing there....I have an email from the one ebay auction stating "Youve got cash!!" blah blah then at the bottom it says click and follow this link to claim your cash. So when i do so, i sign in and it still shows nothing? I pay for things on ebay, online games etc through paypal ALL the time, why can I not recieve these payments? I am confirmed, both my credit cards AND address...and verified...help?!?!?

Three possibilities come to mind.

1.  They paid by credit and you don't have a premier account (as suggested by first answer).  Usually, though, when you manually sign on to Paypal (never, ever use a link in an email!), if it's time to upgrade to premier, the site will prompt you.

2.  They paid you, but they have a typo in the email address.  (Meaning the money went to another ID.)

3.  Rare, but it happens, they pretended to pay you and sent you an email claiming they did.  These are usually shown as a fake email saying that Paypal has your money but "can't release it" until you provide proof of shipment.  Fake emails with links to a fake signin screen (the better to steal your id and password) are usually seen with random emails claiming that money was taken from your account....

are you signed up for a personal account or the premier account? i think it is where they charge you money for what people send you.
