Does Mexico have a capital building?

If so what's it called or do you have a picture of it?

  1. Probably "Palacio Nacional". Los Pinos is the president's residence, but you can't tour it. Palacio Nacional was the home of the viceroys from the late 15th century until 1821. Palacio nacional also housed the two Mexican emperors (yes, Mexico was an empire twice) and most the of presidents of the XIX century; it is still the official seat of the executive branch, although the president usually works at Los Pinos. It has great mural paintings by Diego Rivera.

  2. Los Pinos in Mexico City.

  3. Los Pinos

  4. The  seat of Mexico's government is the National Palace. That would essentially be the capitol building. It is on the main square, called "el Zócalo" in downtown Mexico City. Los Pinos is where the president lives.

Here is a link to a pic of el Palacio Nacional
