I was thinking about putting some new sound equipment in my car(2001 honda civic). I was looking at crutchfield and it seems simple enough but i still dont understand what everything does and what i need. I was lookingat a small self powered bass...prolly the bazooka tube. and also an alpind somponet system, would i need an amp or would my car have enough power and will i need to replace all of the speakers or just the ones in the front(there speakers not componet systems) and anything else you can recomende like websites or whatever.

  2. If you change out the factory speakers then you will need to change wires, If you are just adding woofers and amps then that is a sepearate system but you will need the RCA cables behind your stereo to your amp.  And if you are getting woofers you WILL need an AMP

  3. i believe the tub comes with an amp installed already, as for your componet speakers you cvan switch which ones you want, i would reccomend all, but if you only want to do two then just the front since thats where you will be, you wont need an amp for the componet speakers, so basically just running the wires is about all you need to do
