Car amp help?

Question

so i want to replace the rear sub of my toyota avalon that sits in the rear dash. if i were to buy amp and hook up, after connecting amp to battery and what not, could i just splice the wires from the original wires that hook up to where the old sub was to the amp for the signal, or would i still have to take out the car deck and do all that stuff. I just worry about having to mess with that whole side of it, worried i might s***w it up.

To do it correctly you have to remove the deck.. There should be a left and right output for an amp.. and if not get a deck that has them.. Most aftermarket do and some stock do..
