I need help with my audio system and i can't find the answers anywhere else.I have had two experienced friends of mine try and help me out and can't figure out the problem.

I installed my car audio system the other day and here is my system info.

two 10" infinity subwoofers.

Kenwood excelon 600-800 WATT amp.

abasic 200 WATT Cd player Unit

4 Guage Wiring and all of the wires included.

All of the wiring is hooked up correctly, and im not hearing the bass(its very very faint)..I can kind of feel it,but withouth aving your fingers on it,you cant tell.

I tried messing with the EQ on the cd player and it doesn't help.

Anyone know whats going on with it?..Im urgently needing some info on what i need to do.

Please help.

  1. look at the amp, is it on? how is it set up, make sure it is on lph (low pass filter) make sure the gain is set correctly usualy around 3/4 to max set the lpf to around 65 hz. also make sure it is connected to sub out behind the deck and that the deck is set up for a sub. thats all i can think of .

  2. try disconnecting one of the subs leave the other one playing

if you can hear a big difference then the polarity of one of the subs is reversed you can just switch the one you removed
