Problem, when i installed my sub, when i went over bumps, or round corners the sub/amp would cut in and out. i fixed this problem by completely rewiring the car from front to back, and fiddling with the RCA plugs. It is now fixed, but there is a slight fault, and when i turn around corners, e.g. a round-about, the sub will get louder (which is what i want!) but then get softer as i hit the straight again.
i thought, the RCA cables again, and then thought, it cant have anything to do with ground wires, +12V power cables etc, because the amp would completely turn off then back on (as i hit the straight)
could it possibly be because i have an old car battery and as the power steering is used, the two sources (amp and steering) are draining at the same time? this may sound dumb but id like to figure it out.
sorry if im making this all a bit confusing. haha.
My sub is a random brand, precision audio, and the amp is reasonably good, JBL, but this shouldnt matter.
