  1. Your battery is flat and possibly dead. Before replacing the battery, find out what caused it.

  2. recharge your battery and test your alt.

  3. possibly a bad alternator.  You were running off of the battery until it ran out of juice and the engine died.  Try jumping the car with another battery.  If the engine dies when you remove the jumper cables then you have a bad alternator most likely.

  4. I think you lost your alternator. No warning light??

  5. Bad alternator, especially there is a Smalll box mostly on the outside of the alternator held to the alternator with two small screws which you can replace as the two carbons within it which make contact get worn out with time. Instead of replacing the whole alternator you can replace the carbon rods with spring on one side or better that smal box instesd of the whole alternator. Also check the engine oil and or any engine, bad gas fuel filter, fuel pump etc. problems. However checking the electrical connections fuses, battery, alternator, relays etc., methodically will be a good idea, and have some one knowledgeable in the area to have a lok at the car.
