Car tax help!!?

My car tax renewel is due tomorrow and i planned to go to the post ofice to get it there and then. However i completly forgot about it and so are hoping to renew it tomorrow morning...However i cant find the letter the DVLA sent about the renewal and costs etc anywhere!!! Is it possible to go in without out it and dtill tax my car?

Also i know people will say do it online, but you also need the letter for that aswell, plus it says the disc comes in 5 working days so does that mean my cars still not taxed for those 5 days or does it mean that its taxed still but the disc just hasnt arrived yet, therefore wont get done???

Just go on in, take your car license plate number, driver's license and proof of insurance card (if required in your jurisdiction).

They'll fix you up no problem.
