Career changing?

Question

here's the question: i'm a master's level licensed clinical social worker, i've been in the field for seven years and am totally burnt out. i'm considering my different options, which may include returning to school, i have a g.i. bill to use. does anyone have an anthropology degree? how are you using it? what level, bs, ms, phd? is everything i read about globalization making anthropologists more in demand true? also, how did you specialize? i am so interested in so much, it's about impossible for me to narrow it down. thanks!

My degree is in Anthro, I work as a forensic scientist. I know of NO ONE working in an Anthro based career that doesn't have a PhD.

I agree with Labgrrl: the only thing an Anthro degree is good for, is teaching anthro.

Anthopology is generally a BA.

My second degree is in anthropology because I wanted to change careers.... and I'm still a biologist. In my opinion, Anthropology is only good for teaching anthropology.

I have a BA in anthropology and I am using it in my career as an archaeologist in Texas. My coursework was great, my career, so far, not so great. If you are able to travel extensively, and are unattached, then you may enjoy greater success than I am. Going on to graduate school proved too expensive for me, and now my experience has proved its not even worth it. So I am taking classes to gain some more skills in GIS. However, I can apply what I learned in anthropology anywhere.
