Carnival Cruise line movies?

I am going on a Carnival Cruise this summer and was just wondering what type of movies are played on the ships? Is it new releases or just random movies?

Most of the time on cruise ships you don't have a lot of time to watch movies. If you do have time there is a new movie playing every day. Most of the time there is movies that have just came out in the last year or two. You can also order movies in your room to watch, but they do cost money.

Like on airplanes, cruise lines don't show brand new stuff, but not super-old either.

Depends where youre talking about. They have on demand movies ($7 i think). they also have premium movie channels that alternate movies (2 different ones daily) In addition, and this really depends on the ship, they have movies on the deck that show like a drive in theater (Triumph and Victory at least) or a midnight showing of Rocky Horror (the Pride). The TV choices are really limited but in all honesty you wont be spending alot of time in your room. Have fun
